About Us

CWD was founded in 2002 as “Chip’s Web Design,” thus our current acronym “CWD.” Chip Lowe, our founder, had a vision for his business to grow to include all aspects of technology and in 2004 CWD expanded to video services, including video filming, editing, and DVD production. After these additional service integrations, CWD took on the name CWD & Services, which shortly thereafter dropped the “&” to bear a more simple name of “CWD Services.”

As CWD continued to grow we expanded to even more services beyond web design and video, including social networking development, event planning and technical coordination, online stores, marketing, hosting services, and the list goes on and on! We decided to drop the “Services” from our publicized name in 2008 with the roll-out of our new online center, www.cwd.me, though (for branded recognition and simplification) the tag “Services” had begun being dropped from use in late 2007.

Though we’ve gone through some name changes and brought a host of services to join our initial, solely web design service, CWD is on a track for success, launching our new 92inc subsidiary in 2009 to take over our video-related service developments and continuing to build our CWD brand image!
